Ann Curry
Ann Curry has worked as journalist for more than 45 years. She focuses her reporting on natural disasters and war zones. Curry has reported from the conflicts in Kosovo Iraq Syria Lebanon Palestine Afghanistan Darfur Congo and the Central African Republic. Ann Curry (born on November 19, 1956 in the city of Agana) is an American television reporter, anchor as well as a journalist. She was most famous for being a correspondent of The Today Show, a daily morning news show broadcast by National Broadcasting Co. Curry graduated from Ashland high school. She started a new career path that led to a lucrative job by becoming an intern in broadcasting for KTVL Channel 10 Medford. She was the first female news correspondent at this station when she was just 22. Following that, she went into the role of anchor and reporter for KGW, an NBC affiliate station in Portland. Then, four years later, she relocated into Los Angeles and became a journalist at KCBS TV. There were two Emmy Awards were won during her time with KCBS-TV.
